The all-gracious Lord has filled me full with his compassion and favour and done all he could more than I have ever deserved. Holy mater, by virtue of your native amiability and benevolent disposition you have ever been indulgent to me.

Lord, great has been my audacity in discarding due respect for my master and this assembly and speaking boldly or humbly, just as the fancy moved me; but pardon me, Lord, as one grievously distressed.

It is a great mistake to say overmuch to a loving, wise and good master. Now, Lord, be pleased to give me your commands and set me right (retrieve me, make me new).

The ocean of grace honoured him with kindly words, and taking him by the hand seated him by his side. The whole assembly, including Raghunatha himself, was faint with love after hearing Bharata’s humble speech and marking his noble nature.
